Welcome to the Common Threads Website!

Our Guild first sponsored a quilt show in 1984 and has held one on the even numbered years ever since. With a membership of anywhere from 600 to 950 we tend to do things in a big way. You can count on viewing over 500 quilts at our shows! We feature Judged and non-judged quilts. Our Judge is a NQA Certified judge. You are welcome to enter either category as long as you hold a current PQG membership. There is a fee for each Judged entry. Prize money as well as ribbons will be awarded in the Judged category. Educating the youth of our community has a high priority with the Prairie Quilt Guild. All funds raised from our Miniature Auction go into our Grant Fund. We have now expanded our grants to include both youth and adult organizations. Get your bidding card early and be prepared for a fun time!

Along with the viewing of beautiful quilts we have a variety of Vendors from all over the US. For the curious, all you have to do is check out the Shopping page! If you have a favorite Vendor that isn't listed please pass the information on to them-we'd love to hear from them.
